Parts Failure Case Study
AJSS were contacted by a client to help them find a solution for a failed Generator Control Module (GCM). Their supplier had informed them that the GCM was no longer supported and they would have to undergo a costly upgrade. We conducted an assessment of the failed part and discovered that the CGM could in fact be repaired. This was undertaken at a fraction of the price of the upgrade, returned to the customer and reinstalled allowing the Generator to continue operation.
